Join the Diversity Organizations as we celebrate PEACE! From October 22-26th, we'll have events going on all day that celebrate diversity, unity, education, and peace. Here's just a sampling of what's ahead:Monday: Domestic Violence Awareness
A History of the Muslim Culture, Relationships b/t East and West
Tuesday: Sticks and Stones: How Language Impacts Us
World Religions: An Interfaith Discussion
Wednesday: Celebrate Diversity: Join the Diversity Orgs. at the Clocktower for information and 5 Simple Ways You Can Make a Difference within each community! That evening, join us again for a Peace Walk from the Clocktower to Riverside Park for a Peace Ceremony with keynote speakers, Representative Jennifer Shilling and Sister Anita Bescar. A candlelight ceremony follows, along with dropping 1000's of paper cranes in the river to remember our history, acknowledge the pain, but heal, and begin anew with strong ties in our community.
Thursday: International Violence and Rape Prevention
Speak Out: A panel on International Women's Issues
Friday: An All day Film Festival in Cartwright Center

Often times we run into situations that we don't know how to respond to. We hear hurtful language, we see a hurtful act, or something or someone offends us and we are so shocked we don't know how to respond. Please know you are not alone.
Submit your questions, situations, and any and all puzzlement to this blog. We're here to listen, and we're hear to help.

The Campus Climate blog will also act as a support group or advice area. Often times we run into situations in our lives and don't know how to respond. Whether it's adjusting to campus life or dealing with racial hatred or other diversity issues, Campus Climate and the ATP team are here to help.
